President Jokowi Off to Nias for Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (07/06) headed for Gunungsitoli city in the North Sumatera island of Nias for a working visit.
Upon arrival at the island’s Binaka airport, President Jokowi and the entourage are slated to visit North Nias regency to distribute social assistance for communities at Alasa market and inspect a road reconstruction project.
Afterwards, the President and his entourage will visit West Nias regency to inspect road and bridge infrastructure and distribute social assistance at Mandrehe market.
The social assistance includes working capital assistance (BMK), as well as cooking oil cash transfer (BLT) for beneficiaries of family hope program (PKH) and traders at traditional markets.
In the afternoon, President Jokowi and the entourage are scheduled to go to Binaka airport with Air Force Super Puma helicopter and fly to North Sumatera provincial capital of Medan. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RI/EP)
