President Jokowi Kicks Off Papua Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Iriana Jokowi Tuesday (08/30) headed to Papua province for a working visit.

The President departed from Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma airport using Presidential aircraft Indonesia-1 at around 12 p.m. local time and is scheduled to arrive at 19.10 eastern Indonesia time.

The President will then head to the hotel and continue his agenda the next day. The President will, among others, inaugurate the Papua Football Academy (PFA) and hand over Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for micro and small business actors and individuals. (BPMI/UN) (EST/MUR)
