Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Fun Walk to Commemorate the Upcoming Centenary of Nahdlatul Ulama, in Surakarta City, Central Java Province, January 22, 2023

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.

Distinguished Chairperson of Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU),
Distinguished Rais Am (Supreme Leader) of PBNU, and all ranks, as well as all regional boards of NU;
Distinguished Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani;
Distinguished Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet;
Distinguished Governor of Central Java;
Distinguished Kanjeng Gusti Mangkunegara;
Ladies and Gentlemen.

I really appreciated the organization of Arts and Sports Week (Porseni) and fun walk event in the city of Solo (Surakarta). With the activities, I hope all Nahdliyin members and all Indonesian citizens can be healthy with the organizing of the event. With such health, our country will be strong.

I wish you success for the event. I will join the fun walk from the start to finish line, insyaallah.
